abstract |
The present disclosure relates to a completion system and method adapted for use in wells having long lateral boreholes. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to a pipe tong fixture for a conventional pipe tong apparatus, which may be installed within a mast for a long lateral completion system. The pipe tong fixture allows for the movement and precise control of the conventional pipe tong apparatus in relation to a borehole for efficient and safe remote operation of the pipe tong fixture and conventional pipe tong apparatus. The present disclosure also relates to torque measurement and the communication and analysis of such measurements during a completion. |
