A method for providing and consuming a storable and transportable, alcohol-containing cooling fluid comprising the following steps:n providing a gas with carbon dioxide fraction as a carbon supplier; providing a hydrogen fraction; producing a gaseous starting material by mixing the carbon dioxide fraction and hydrogen fraction; passing of the starting material through a reactor with a catalyst to synthesize a cooling fluid mixture of alcohol and water; and using the cooling mixture for cooling intake air, and/or compressor air or/and a fuel-air mixture of an internal combustion engine by evaporating the cooling fluid. |
