abstract | Disclosed is a chemical coating composition for recording an image on a recording material that forms a color image by irradiation with a laser beam. Further, the chemical coating composition includes at least one water soluble polymer whose viscosity of a 4% aqueous solution is more than 29 mPa·s at 20° C., and at least one water soluble compound which has at least one acidic group and at least one basic group, and has absorption maximum at more than 330 nm. Also disclosed is a recording material using the inventive chemical coating composition, as well as a recording method using the chemical coating composition dried onto a recording material which is then subsequently irradiated with a laser. |
