abstract |
An electrochemically active material comprising a mixture or blend of two groups of particles, exhibits synergetic effect. The two groups of particles are compounds of formula Li x H y V 3 O 8 and compounds of formula Li x M y PO 4 wherein M is one or more transition metals, comprising at least one metal which is capable of undergoing oxidation to a higher valence state. In order to obtain a synergistic effect, the particles of formula (I) and the particles of formule (II) are present in amounts of 5:95% by weight to 95:5% by weight. |
