abstract An organic electroluminescent display device includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate, an organic electroluminescent layer, an upper electrode, a lower electrode and a light filter. The organic electroluminescent layer is disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The organic electroluminescent layer includes a plurality of first electroluminescent units, a plurality of second electroluminescent units and a plurality of third electroluminescent units. Each first electroluminescent unit is employed to emit light within a first wavelength range, each second electroluminescent unit is employed to emit light within a second wavelength range, and each third electroluminescent unit is employed to emit light within a third wavelength range. The light filter is disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate to block the light not within the first wavelength range, the second wavelength range and the third wavelength range.
