abstract | The artificial hair of the present invention comprising a flame-retardant polyester-based fiber that is formed of a composition obtained by melt-kneading, the composition comprising: 100 parts by weight of polyester (A); 5 parts by weight to 30 parts by weight of a bromine-containing flame retardancy agent (B); and 0.5 parts by weight to 10 parts by weight of an antimony compound (C) having an average particle diameter ranging from 1.5 μm to 15 μm, wherein the polyester (A) is made of at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polyalkylene terephthalate and copolyester, where the copolyester contains polyalkylene terephthalate as a main component, and 0.01% omf to 1% omf of a polyorganosiloxane-based fiber treating agent (E) is deposited on the flame-retardant polyester-based fiber. The artificial fiber has excellent combing smoothness, and the excellent flame retardancy. |
