Disclosed is an aqueous solution for absorbing and recovering carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide-containing gas, the aqueous solution containing 50 to 70 wt % of a secondary amine compound represented by Formula (1): n n n n n n n n n n wherein R represents a straight- or branched-chain alkyl group having 3 to 5 carbon atoms; and a surfactant. Also disclosed is a method for absorbing and recovering carbon dioxide using the aqueous solution. |
