abstract A communication apparatus may comprise a processor and a memory. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions that, when executed, instruct the communication apparatus to execute steps comprising acquiring a type of transmission data referring to information about the transmission data, and limiting a search range of a network bandwidth, in response to the acquired type of the transmission data, wherein the network bandwidth is measured by a transmission interval of a transmission of a plurality of packets via a network, and a reception interval of a reception of the plurality of packets via a network. The memory is configured to store computer-readable instructions that further instructs the communication apparatus to execute steps comprising setting the search range according to the limited search range, and transmitting a packet within the limited search range for measuring the network bandwidth.
