abstract |
The present invention is directed to a composition comprising nanoparticles of TiO 2 having a mean particle diameter (D 50 ) of about 20-50 nm at a concentration of about 1-2000 g/L and H 2 O 2 at a final concentration at about 2.5-25% by volume. The TiO 2 particles are activated by the H 2 O 2 in the composition to form radicals. The composition has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties and may be used for e.g. wound debridement. The invention further concerns medical and cosmetic products and devices comprising the composition. |
