abstract A display apparatus includes a light source, a display panel and an optical plate between the light source and the display panel. The optical plate includes a supporting sheet, a first, a second and a third optical layer. The first optical layer is disposed on a bottom surface of the supporting sheet and has a plurality of first protruding portions on a bottom surface of the first optical layer and has a first refractive index. The second optical layer is disposed on the bottom surface of the first optical layer and covers the first protruding portions. The second optical layer has a second refractive index larger than the first refractive index. The third optical layer is disposed on a top surface of the supporting sheet and has a plurality of second protruding portions on a top surface and has a third refractive index smaller than the second refractive index.
