Device for modulating pgc-1 expression, and treating device and treating method for ischemic disease |
abstract |
A PGC-1 expression-modulating device ( 1 ) according to the present invention includes an ultrasonic wave transmitting section ( 14 ) that irradiates a subject living body with ultrasonic waves. This configuration modulates PGC-1 expression in a living body and promotes angiogenesis in which VEGF is involved. This enables promoting angiogenesis in a living body and treating ischemic disease without an excessive burden on a patient. |
