abstract | The invention relates to a method for producing alkoxy-substituted 1,2-bissilylethanes of the general formula 1 n (R 1 O) n R 2 (3-n) Si—CH 2 —CH 2 —SiR 2 (3-n) (OR 1 ) n (1),n n which comprises reacting, in a first step, a mixture containing compounds of the general formulae 2 and 3 n Cl n R 2 (3-n) Si—CH 2 —CH 2 —SiR 2 (3-n) Cl n (2)n n Cl n R 2 (3-n) Si—CH═CH—SiR 2 (3-n) Cl n (3)n n with an alcohol of the general formula 4 n R 1 OH (4)n n and, in a second step, subjecting the resultant mixture which contains compounds of the general formula 1 and compounds of the general formula 5 n (R 1 O) n R 2 (3-n) Si—CH═CH—SiR 2 (3-n) (OR 1 ) n (5)n n to reductive conditions such that the compound of the general formula 5 is converted into a compound of the general formula 1, wherein R 1 and R 2 are monovalent, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted hydrocarbon radicals having 1 to 16 carbon atoms and n is the value 1, 2 or 3. |
