abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for producing a microcapsule containing a pesticidal compound in a fatty acid ester such as methyl O-acetylricinoleate, which delays the release timing of the pesticidal compound as compared to a conventional microcapsule. Provided is a method for producing a microcapsule, which comprises:n (1) keeping a mixture of a pesticidal compound, a compound represented by formula (I): nn n n n n n n n n n wherein X represents —CH 2 —CH 2 — or —CH═CH—, R 1 represents a C1-C4 alkyl group, and R 2 represents a C1-C4 alkyl group, and a polyisocyanate at 20 to 60° C. for 3 hours or more;n (2) adding the mixture to water containing a polyol or a polyamine to prepare liquid droplets in the water; and (3) forming a film of polyurethane or polyurea around the droplets. |
