abstract The invention relates to the preparation of poly(trimethylene terephthalate) polymer pellets with reduced oligomers and a process for measuring the reduction of oligomers in PTT polymer which occurs when the polymer is subjected to a heat source. This reduction allows for lower polymer blooming due to reduction of oligomers in the polymer.
