The present invention relates to a process for producing films which are resistant to tear propagation, by using biodegradable polyesters obtainable via polycondensation of:n i) from 65 to 80 mol %, based on components i to ii, of one or more dicarboxylic acid derivatives or dicarboxylic acids selected from the group consisting of: succinic acid, adipic acid, sebacic acid, azelaic acid, and brassylic acid; ii) from 35 to 20 mol %, based on components i to ii, of a terephthalic acid derivative; iii) from 98 to 102 mol %, based on components i to ii, of a C 2 -C 8 -alkylenediol or C 2 -C 6 -oxyalkylenediol; iv) from 0.05 to 2% by weight, based on the polymer obtainable from components i to iii, of an at least trifunctional crosslinking agent or of an at least difunctional chain extender. nn The invention further relates to polymer mixtures which are suitable for producing films which are resistant to tear propagation. |
