abstract | The present invention provides a thermoplastic molding composition containing an aromatic polycarbonate and a core-shell graft copolymer which is coagulated with a salt of a metal element selected from the group consisting of lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, francium, beryllium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium and radium. The molding composition may optionally include a polyalkylene terephthalate. The inventive thermoplastic molding composition exhibits improved hydrolytic stability over a comparable thermoplastic molding composition produced with a core shell graft copolymer coagulated with a salt of a metal element not selected from the group consisting of lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, cesium, francium, beryllium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, barium and radium. |
