abstract Insect repelling compositions and methods of use are provided which include a composition containing neem oil, citronella oil, rosemary oil, an insecticide in an amount that is non-toxic, and a solvent or carrier, and its use in repelling insects. The composition can also include aromatic ingredients such as lemon grass oil, lulu scent, and peach oil, as well as other conventional ingredients such as emulsifiers, stabilizers, etc.. These compositions can be applied to a human or animal subject or to a non-living surface in order to repel insects safely and without side-effects, and can also be used to provide safe and effective treatment and healing of insect bites and wounds and other topical damage caused by insects such as burrowing insects.
