titleOfInvention | Antiglare film, manufacturing method thereof, and transmissive liquid crystal display |
abstract | An antiglare film includes a transparent substrate, and an antiglare layer formed on the transparent substrate. The antiglare layer includes a binder matrix and acrylic-styrene copolymer particles, and the binder matrix includes an acrylic material having a hydroxyl group. A quotient R A /H, which is obtained by dividing the average diameter R A of the acrylic-styrene copolymer particles by the average thickness H of the antiglare layer, is within a range of 0.30 to 0.80. A product in |n A −n M |×w A ×H, which is the product of: the absolute value |n A −n M ] obtained by subtracting the average refractive index n M of the binder matrix from the refractive index n A of the acrylic-styrene copolymer particles; the content w A of the acrylic-styrene copolymer particles when the content w M of the binder matrix in the antiglare layer is 100 parts by weight; and the average thickness H of the antiglare layer, is within a range of 0.70 to 3.00. |
