abstract | Disclosed is a retardation film comprising, as laminated in the thickness direction thereof, at least two layers of an optically anisotropic layer A containing at least one refractivity-anisotropic substance and a polymer A and an optically anisotropic layer B containing at least one refractivity-anisotropic substance in a ratio smaller than that in the optically anisotropic layer A, or not containing a refractivity-anisotropic substance, and containing a polymer B of which the main ingredient is the same as that of the polymer A, wherein the Nz factor of the optically anisotropic layers A and B intermittently differs in the thickness direction of the film. |
