A method of an interworking solution includes receiving a message from an apparatus, determining if the message belongs to a first set of messages or a second set of messages, and discarding the message when the message belongs to the first set of messages. The first set of messages are 1× native messages unsupported for tunneling to a user equipment and the second set of messages are 1× native messages supported for tunneling to the user equipment for circuit switch fallback procedures.
