abstract | A plasma display member comprises a plurality of substantially stripe-shaped address electrodes ( 7 ) formed on a substrate ( 5 ), a dielectric layer ( 6 ) covering the address electrodes, main barrier ribs ( 8 ) located on the dielectric layer and formed substantially in parallel with the address electrodes, and auxiliary barrier ribs ( 9 ) formed orthogonal to the main barrier ribs. In the plasma display member, the pitch (Pt 1 ) between the outermost main barrier rib of the main barrier ribs located in the non-display region on both sides in the lateral direction of a display region and the main barrier rib adjacent to the outermost main barrier rib is integer times the pitch (Pt 2 ) between the main barrier ribs located in the display region, where the integer is two or more. In addition, exposure processing is performed a plurality of times by using a photomask having a specific shape, thereby making it possible to obtain a plasma display having a high display quality and a high productivity. |
