Mirror optic system |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a component for a mirror optic system characterized in that the component comprises a thermoplastic polyester composition comprising polyethylene terephthalate (PET); and reinforcing fibres. The composition is substantially free of plasticizers and the weight % of PET and reinforcing fibers accounts for at least 95 weight % relative to the total weight of the composition. The components have sufficient dimensional and vibrational stability to meet the performance criteria required to perform in high temperature, high vibration environments. |
