abstract |
The image forming method includes: an image forming step of forming an image on a recording medium by using aqueous ink, the recording medium showing dimensional change of not more than 0.1% with respect to water content of 1 g/m 2 ; a drying step of drying the ink on the recording medium after the image forming step; and a recording medium discharge step of discharging the recording medium after the drying step, wherein the drying is carried out in the drying step so that a difference in water content between an image portion and a non-image portion of the recording medium immediately before the recording medium discharge step is not more than 3.0 g/m 2 . |
