titleOfInvention Method for adjusting transmission jitter in a reception terminal
abstract The invention aims to resolve the problems with jitter in a system for receiving real-time data in packets by a jitter regulation method based on the calculation of a curve representing the minimum filling rate of the buffer and by the triggering of a correction operation according to the change in this curve over time. This invention is applicable to all systems for receiving real-time data streams using a reception buffer. It is however particularly advantageous when the transmission jitter has a pseudoperiodic character.
