abstract | An object of the present invention is to prevent the occurrence of resinous gloss on the surface of a molded porous material into which a synthetic resin is impregnated, and to attain this object, the present invention provides a resin compound for processing a porous material by coating, impregnating or mixing it on/in to the porous material wherein a colloidal silica is added to a thermosetting resin in an amount of more than 5% by mass, so that when the porous material which is processed by the resin compound is press molded, and as the resin compound oozes to the surface of the resulting molded porous material, the colloidal silica prevents the occurrence of the resinous gloss on the surface of the molded porous material. |
