abstract A polymer nanocomposite and a fabrication method thereof are provided. The polymer nanocomposite includes an amorphous polyester body and a plurality of layered structural materials mixed with the amorphous polyester body, wherein the layered structural materials have one or more than one kind of aspect ratio. The fabrication method includes providing an amorphous polyester, providing a plurality of modified layered structural materials which have one or more than one kind of aspect ratio, mixing the modified layered structural materials uniformly, mixing the modified layered structural materials into the amorphous polyester, and forming the polymer nanocomposite by a melting process.
