abstract A fibre-reinforced concrete mix with a high resistance to corrosion and a low volume weight, having higher mechanical strength values than those of a standard concrete and a lower volume weight. The inventive concrete is different from those currently available owing to the formulation, mix and novel mechanical behaviour of its constituents. In addition, the concrete has a longer service life than other concretes due to its resistance to chemical attack and corrosion.
