titleOfInvention Light weight concrete product containing synthetic fibers
abstract A method is provided for producing a light weight, low to medium density product from gasified or aerated liquids and gels, such as air-entrained concrete. The method includes mixing cement, aggregate, water, air bubbles, a foam stabilizing agent and a plurality of suspension elements together to form a concrete mixture, pouring the mixture into a form and allowing the mixture to harden in the form. The suspension elements include synthetic fibers, such as polyolefin, nylon or polyester monofilaments, wherein each monofilament has a denier of less than 15 and a length of greater than 0.635 cm to 1.905 cm (¼ inch to ¾ inch).
