abstract Disclosed herein is a fish attractant formulation for application to an object. The formulation comprises a carrier which comprises one or more fatty acids; and a further component that is a fish attractant carried by the carrier. The formulation is adapted to be retained on the object. Also disclosed are a fishing lure or bait coated with the fish attractant formulation, and a method for producing a fish attractant formulation.
