abstract |
There is provided a honeycomb catalyst body 100 having a deviation in face positions on the inner side of the cells perpendicular to a direction in which the cells 3 extends of a plurality of plugged portions 10 having predetermined length. The honeycomb catalyst body 100 provides a catalyst converter where thermal stress is dispersed and a local temperature rise in the vicinity of the inlet and the outlet is suppressed. The catalyst converter is hence less apt to crack. |
