abstract There is a method for imparting curl to eyelashes. The method has the step of applying to the eyelashes an anhydrous liquid composition having the following: a) an organic solvent and b) an alkyl cycloalkylacrylate copolymer soluble or dispersible in the solvent. The organic solvent is present in an amount sufficient to dissolve or disperse the alkyl cycloalkylacrylate copolymer. The alkyl cycloalkylacrylate copolymer is present at about 0.1 wt % to about 90 wt % based on the total weight of the composition.
