abstract A technique for deploying a communication line in a tubing used in a wellbore. The communication line is positioned within the tubing which may be used to deploy a well device into a wellbore. Additionally, a reactive material is placed into the tubing. The consistency of the reactive material may be selectively changed so as to fill space between the cable and the tubing, thus providing support for the cable and/or pressure isolation along the tubing.
