Disclosed herein is a flame-retardant polyamide composition, comprising about 60 to about 90 weight percent a polyamide composition; and a flame-retardant composition, comprising about 15 to about 30 wt % of a condensed triazine derivative; and about 5 to about 15 wt % of the reaction product of a triazine derivative with a cyanuric acid; and wherein the ratio of the weight of the condensed triazine derivative to the weight of the reaction product of a triazine derivative with a cyanuric acid is greater than 1. |
