abstract | The present invention provides an active ray curable ink-jet ink which exhibits excellent ejection capability, results in no mixing of deposited dots between colors during high speed printing, and exhibits rapid curing characteristics, and an image forming method and an image forming apparatus employing the above ink-jet ink. The above active ray curable ink-jet ink is characterized of incorporating at least a carbon black based pigment, a dispersing agent, a cationic polymerizable monomer, and an acid generating agent, wherein the aforesaid carbon black based pigment is basic and the aforesaid dispersing agent has an acid value and an amine value. |
