The invention relates to a multi-channel flat tube ( 1 ) for a heat exchanger, especially for use in motor vehicles, which comprises a first lateral wall ( 14 ), a second lateral wall ( 15 ) substantially parallel to the first lateral wall ( 14 ), and at least one curved end section ( 17 ). A projection ( 9 ) from the material of the lateral wall ( 14, 15 ) is configured on at least one lateral wall ( 14, 15 ) on the inside facing a fluid flow in the interior of the flat tube ( 1 ).
