abstract This invention provides for the mixing of tanning lotion ingredients at the point of purchase. The consumer selects from various optional ingredients and the tanning lotion is created to the consumer's specification at the point of purchase. The tanning lotion is then applied at the point of purchase or at the consumer's desired location. An apparatus for mixing the tanning lotion ingredients includes reservoirs for holding the ingredients situated on a rotatable carousel for access to all reservoirs. Each reservoir has a valve for dispensing a selected amount of ingredient into the custom tanning lotion.
