A system, apparatus, and method for techniques to retrieve and process information from communication networks on a mobile computing device are described. The apparatus may include a first interface module to receive a query and to display results of said query. The results include location information of at least one entity associated with the query. The apparatus may include a second interface module to transfer the query to a data source server, receive the results from the data source server, and transfer the results to said first interface.
