abstract | The present invention provides a photothermographic material having, on at least one side of a support, an image forming layer including at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a first reducing agent for silver ions, and a first binder, and a non-photosensitive outermost layer which is disposed on the same side of the support as the side having thereon the image forming layer, wherein the photothermographic material further has a non-photosensitive intermediate layer A between the image forming layer and the outermost layer, and the non-photosensitive intermediate layer A includes at least a second reducing agent for silver ions and a second binder. A photothermographic material which gives an image with high image quality and has improved film physical properties is provided. |
