abstract The present invention relates to a system for industrial radiography comprising: (1) a radiographic element sensitive to X- or γ- radiation comprising a medium of which at least one of the sides is coated with a layer of silver halide emulsion, comprised of tabular grains having an aspect ratio of at least two, and the tabular grains of the silver halide emulsion containing a quantity of iodide more than one percent and lower than three percent in moles, and (2) applied to at least one of the sides of said radiographic element, an intensifying screen that can be a screen emitting electrons, a screen emitting visible light, a screen emitting electrons and visible light and a screen emitting neutrons, said radiographic element being compatible with all said intensifying screens.
