titleOfInvention Fire retardant molded artificial stone
abstract The present invention to a molded rock were stone made from a molding process with hydrate calcium sulfate and melamine formaldehyde resin which is further coated with a flame resistant polyester resin containing acrylic chips. Once cured, the substrate (calcium sulfate filled formaldehyde resin) provides excellent fire resistance. The polyester coating containing acrylic chips provides the look and texture of real stone. These molded imitation rocks find application as building materials for a variety of applications in residential and commercial buildings.
