abstract The present invention provides a non-sintered type positive electrode for alkaline storage battery whose drop out of active material powder is suppressed while maintaining favorable charging-discharging properties such as utilization factor. A non-sintered type positive electrode constituted by an electrically conductive support, a nickel hydroxide powder coated by cobalt oxyhydroxide (COH), an additive made of COH powder, and a binder, in which the average particle size of the nickel hydroxide powder coated by COH is greater than that of the additive made of COH powder.
