abstract To provide a surface modified implant made with titanium or a titanium alloy in which a bone bonding can be made easily and certainly as compared with conventional ones and treating method thereof, the surface of the implant made with titanium or the titanium alloy is treated with polyphosphoric acid and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), and the method comprises treating with a polyphosphoric acid solution having a concentration of 0.05 to 70% by weight and with a basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) solution having a concentration of 1 to 500 ng/ml, or treating with a mixed solution having the concentration of the polyphosphoric acid of 0.05 to 70% by weight and the concentration of the basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) of 1 to 500 ng/ml.
