A fluid management article and a method for daily management of body exudates wherein the fluid management article includes a silhouette having two opposed end portions and two opposed longitudinal edges connecting the two opposed end portions; and a unitary core structure consisting essentially of an integrally formed composite material, the composite material including a first material comprising non-absorbent fusible fibers and a second material comprising at least about 50% non-absorbent fusible fibers interspersed with absorbent cellulosic based fiber wherein the first and second materials are integrated with the application of heat thereto and replacing the article as needed. |
