abstract A gelatin capsule, formed of a film composition containing gelatin and polyglutamic acid, encompassing a mineral ingredient as a part of the contents of the capsule, together resulting in easy absorption of the mineral ingredient upon administration of the capsule. The composition of the film comprising the gelatin capsule inhibits an insolubilization phenomenon in the film that occurs during storage of the gelatin capsule, and composition of the film allows production of the capsule by an existing production line. Further, the gelatin capsule can easily be administered orally, and minerals contained in the capsule, such as calcium and iron, can effectively be absorbed in the living body.
