A head-up display (HUD) is incorporated within a windshield of a motor vehicle at a location through which the operator's field of vision onto the highway ahead must pass. The TOLED is formed of transparent materials and laminated, along with a polymeric interlayer, between two plies of glass; a pair of elongated conductors electrically connect the electrodes of the TOLED to an edge of the windshield. Upon the receipt of signals from a controller, light is created within the plies of the windshield to immediately convey a HUD to the operator without the need for his or her vision to leave the highway ahead. |
