abstract The present invention discloses a method and pharmaceutical dry powder combined doses for administration by inhalation of metered dry powder combined doses of finely divided dry medication doses. Formoterol and fluticasone are selected medicaments for forming the combined doses. Metered dry powder medicinal combined doses comprising separately metered deposits of medicinally effective quantities of each of the selected medicaments are prepared, in which the sum of the metered deposits constitutes the metered quantities of powder of the combined doses and the medicinal combined doses are introduced into an adapted inhaler device for a generally simultaneous or sequential prolonged delivery of the medicinal combined doses during the course of a single inhalation by a user, such that each one of the administered medicinal combined doses is composed of a high proportion of de-aggregated fine particles of the selected medicament or medicaments and directed to a selected location in the lungs.
