The present invention provides methods and apparatuses for detecting the presence of immobilized molecular analytes. The invention uses a novel film layer comprising a molecular ligand that is capable of diffusibly migrating to the immobilized molecular analyte. A variety of detection methods are useful in detecting the resulting detectable product. |
