abstract | Disclosed herein is a deodorant composition, characterized in that it contains, in a cosmetically acceptable vehicle: (a) at least one zinc salicylate or a derivative thereof, in free or hydrated form; n (b) at least one C 1 -C 4 monoalcohol; and (c) at least one propellant. n Also disclosed herein is an aerosol device comprising a container comprising an aerosol composition comprising firstly of a fluid phase comprising at least one C 1 -C 4 monoalcohol, at least zinc salicylate or a derivative thereof, in free or hydrated form, at least one propellant, and a means for distributing the aerosol composition. Further disclosed herein is a process for treating human body odor, and especially underarm odor, using this device. |
