titleOfInvention Glutaraldehyde composition
abstract This invention provides stable aqueous glutaraldehyde solution comprising 0.005% to 45% m/v solution of glutaraldehyde, an alcohol exthoxylate non-ionic surfactant, sodium acetate trihydrate and sufficient of a pH modifier to bring the pH of the solution to 6.0 to 8.5. In particular, the invention relates to stable concentrate solutions comprising 10% to 45% m/v glutaraldehyde. These stable solutions can be stored for a period of at least six months without the glutaraldehyde polymerising or the pH dropping below 5.0.
