Ligand array processing methods, e.g., array manufacturing methods and array-based assay methods, as well as compositions for use in practicing the same, are provided. A feature of the subject methods is that they include an agent deposition step in which the ligand displaying surface of an array is contacted with a high surface tension deposition fluid, e.g., propylene carbonate, that includes an agent of interest, e.g., a feature protecting agent. Also provided are kits for use in practicing the subject methods. The subject methods and kits find use in a variety of ligand array manufacturing and ligand array-based assay applications, including genomic and proteomic applications. |
